About me

In a nutshell –  I’m Lucy, I love teapots, flowers, crafts and my beautiful family. I have two little girls who are my sunshine. My husband is also in the industry and works as a designer, we get to work together from time to time, which is lovely.

I adore the wealth of talent in Cumbria and Lancashire. I feel privileged to have grown up here and now to work and raise my family here. I returned home in 2006 after working in Gloucestershire and London, after completing my degree in 2003.

My work

Working from my studio in Silverdale I travel across the Lake District, Cumbria and Lancashire shooting interiors and commercial photography. From my studio, I shoot product photography and most of my stock library shots.

For my clients convenience I have a mobile studio & style/stage product, food and interior photography. Working with flash lighting, daylight and HDR photography.  I work both under art direction from design agencies and directly with clients.

FAQs

How to begin?
Email me a brief. Let me know what, when and where you need photographing? I can then advice on a price based on how long the job will take, email info@lucybarden.co.uk

How much?
I charge £50 per hour, all work is charged on a time taken basis. Each job will require shooting time and editing time.

Where will you shoot?
For interiors I will of course go to the property, for food and products this is normally up to you, I have a mobile studio inlucing lights, backgrounds and props. Some clients prefer me to shoot on site and others don't have the time or space so courier products to my studio.

How will I receive my images?
All files will be sent via a digital download link and should be saved to your hard drive. I keep a back up copy on file just incase.

Do I own the images?
All copyright stays with the photographer, I provide a licence to use the images, (normally for any marketing purpose, worldwide for 10 years - unless otherwise discussed). For more information on copyright visit the Association of Photographers www.the-aop.org
