CLIENT - Holker Hall at Cark-in-Cartmel, Cumbria
BREIF - Christmas interior property photography to show the rooms and floral displays, plus architectural photography of the courtyard and Hall
NOTES - Holker Hall opened for Christmas this year, the hall was decorated and filled with wonderful floral displays. The courtyard was decorated and special events/workshops were running. I was commissioned to shoot the hall dressed for Christmas for next years promotional marketing and to document the event. The challenge of the job was that the hall was open to the public whilst I was shooting so I used HDR techniques as I couldn't light the rooms with flash and I had to play the waiting game to get the rooms empty. It was so spectacular, it felt like a real privilege to shoot it.
